Essential tools For Women

Drawing from her popular essential Tools for Women training workshops and presentations, management consultant Joni Daniels teaches women how to be personally and professionally more effective at work and at home.

In the Power Tools for Women® workshops, she discovered that women could attain more personal and professional power by tapping into the metaphor of the tool kit. Too few women grow up wielding power tools and enjoying that sense of accomplishment and self-sufficiency they impart. Power Tools for Women® helps readers use the same set of skills at home and in the office to be more successful.

Women's Bionic Gloves

These bionic gardening gloves were designed with repeated use in mind. They reduce stress on your joints and make repetitive gardening tasks easier on your hands. Padding helps to prevent blisters and calluses and improves grip strength. The knuckle joints are made out of Lycra?, improving flexibility just where you need it. Wristbands are form-fitting and have a Velcro? closure to keep out dirt. Gloves are extremely supple because they are made of the finest-quality cabretta leather. Machine wash and air dry.  Sizes are listed in the menu below.

The right shampoo for your hair type.

Picking the correct shampoo is all about the ingredients. Extra tip: More shampoo is not better. All you need is a half-dollar-sized dollop, perhaps a bit more if you have long hair. And although it says on the back of every shampoo bottle, "rinse & repeat," you don't need to if you did a good job the first time around. Beauty experts tout Pantene as the best basic shampoo on the market. We tend to agree, having tried dozens of different shampoos from the fabulously pricey to the basics. Check out their various products from moisturizing to volumizing.

Essential accessories for self-reliant women - Arms and the Woman

Very often your female customers may not know how useful a product is until you tell them about it or show it to them. As the expert, you'll want to explain to your customer why a particular item, such as a good pair of binoculars or just the right pair of boots can make her hunting experience more comfortable and, as a result, more successful. With the volume of products on the market today, it's no easy task to keep informed on all the latest developments and pass them on to customers. In an attempt to assist you in this endeavor, here are a few products that may not immediately leap to mind as essentials, but are useful to any self-reliant woman.

Recent graduates of a pepper spray training course will want a PowerPurse from Guardian Leather. This roomy bag sports two special features that make it ideal for women who wish to rely on less-than-lethal defense mechanisms.

Incorporated into the purse's design is an extra wide 2-inch strap. While this may seem a bit excessive to fashion-conscious women, there is an ingenious explanation for the wide strap - it's designed to hide a canister of pepper spray! The PowerPurse package includes a large strip of Velcro on the inside front of the strap as well as another large strip of Velcro with an adhesive strip that can be attached to a pepper spray or mace canister. When carrying the purse naturally, with the right or left hand around the strap, the pepper spray canister is always in your customer's hand, exactly where she needs it. Imagine the secure feeling this provides as it eliminates the need to fumble around in an already stuffed purse when all the panic alarms are going off.

Young Women Value Ideas

1. Extract records through the Extraction Program.

2. Do Family History Research and find names of your ancestors and enough information to

submit their names for temple work. If you live close enough to a temple, arrange to do the baptisms.

3. Write your life history or the life history of an ancestor such as your grandmother.

4. Gather photos of your ancestors and scan them into the computer and attach them to your PAF database.

5. Extract records from an older cemetery to preserve the records that may be lost over time. Print in book form or on CD and give copies to the local library, the local FHC, and local historical and/or genealogical society so that people will have access for their research.

6. Make a Scrapbook of family photos and memories that are important to your family. Include a pedigree chart and Family Group Sheet.

7. If your family has a large family history database, check all of the names in the Ordinance Index. Record the dates of work that has been done. Submit the names of those that are ready and need their work done. If you are close to the Temple, arrange to do the baptisms for those you submit.

8. Gather family recipes from members of your extended family. Include a small picture of the person whose recipe it is. If there are family traditions that include a recipe, tell about them by the recipe. Try to find recipes that have been handed down from your grandmothers. If you need extra recipes, find heritage recipes from the region or country that your ancestors came from.
