How to get smoky eyes?
Today every girl wants to look dazzling. And eyes are the actual beauty of a person. Eyes represent people's personality. Smoky eyes are very much in fashion today, especially amongst the celebs. Classy smoky eyes go well with the parties as it is the big style. So now it's not much of a problem for any girl, not only celebs but even a simple girl can have classy smoky eyes. Just follow step by step instructions by your own self and get smoky eyes within 10minutes.
What all is required to give your eyes a classy look-
- Three shades of eye shadows.
- Eye shadow brush.
- Dark eyeliner.
- Mascara.
- Translucent base powder.
Classy smoky eyes give an irrerestible look even if u doesn't have big or bright eyes.
Step-1- choose a color.
Classy eyes can be achieved by any dark bright grey or any dark colors. We need three eye shadows-dark, medium and light. It's very important to pair light base colors with rich dark colors. And eyeliner of that accompany. You should be very careful while selecting shades. It should go along with the color of your skin.
It's advisable to avoid black if you have small eyes.
Step-2- choose a brush.
The key to the perfect smoky eyes is through proper blending. Make sure that colors are blended flawlessly. It is best done with the eye shadow brush. So make sure to have a good and thick brush.
Step-3- prepare the skin for the eye shadow to get stick.
If the base of the skin is not proper then the eye shadow will not be properly blended. Oil on the skin will cause the eye shadow to move. So before applying any eye shadow give a light coat of base powder on the eyes.
Top tip: Heavy powder base below the eyes act as a guard it will catch any flex of color but remove this powder at the end.
Step-4- line the eyes.
Starting from the inner corner of the eye draw a dark line with the help of the eye liner and try to keep this within the lashes filling the empty spaces.
Step-5- keep it symmetrical.
After finishing one step on one eye, do the same side by side on the other eye. Then only start with another step. It is to keep both the eye exactly the same.
Step-6- apply the highlight shade.
Apply it up to the eyebrows. Also put highlight powder between the corners of your eyes it helps to brighten them up and it also helps in avoiding the dark shade which makes the eyes look dull. So it is also an important part in getting smoky eyes.
Step-7- apply the medium shade.
Build the medium shade on the eyelid. Starting from the lash line just blend on the eye. Blend the colors well so there are no clear lines, blending colors properly will prevent showing lines on the eyes.
Step-8- apply the darkest color.
Be very careful with the final and darkest color because it will be actually seen on the eyes and if you apply this too much it will make your eyes look dull and scary. Start from the eye corner and slowly with the narrow part of the brush taper the color to half way across the eyelid. Blend this into the medium shade. Now with the large powder brush sweep the powder eye guard away (as mentioned in step 4) in upward motion.
Step-9- asses the eye.
Before doing anything else look at the status of your eye and see what's more needed, and then only move to next step.
Step-10- adjust to your eyes.
For deeper size eye-Build up the darkest color to half way of the lid. For small eyes.leave it with a very thin line.
Step-11- finishing touches.
To make the make up smokier add a little eye liner on and inside the lower lash line. To finish of the smoky eyes apply lots of mascara it gives a classy look.
If u want to get smoky eyes like celebs prefer to choose a brighter color like black, grey, brown or even a dark green. But try to avoid blue it will look like dark circles.
To prevent color from fading give your lids a more shimmery finish, pat a cream shadow on the lids, then top with the matching powder shadow.
