FAIL ON SMALL SCREEN LET'S TRY ON THE BIG SCREEN
Small screen hottie Sweta Keswani, popularly remembered as the vamp Anu from Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, who made a transition to the big screen with an item number for Tauba Tauba, has done another hot number for the movie Jackpot.
“This time around it’s not just an item song. Jugnu, the song which has been shot on me, has an Arabian vibe. It was fun shooting for it”, says Sweta. The film is an out-an-out comedy directed by Sanjay Khanna.
Sweta Keswani questions, “If Sonia Gandhi can be accepted then, why not Alex.”
‘English Babu Desi Mame’ is how Jodi No. 1 of ‘Nach Baliye 3’ is being described as and it’s amazing to see Alexx’s effort on picking up the dance moves and the words of the songs as well.
Alexx, who is Anglo-Dutch, has lived in the US and has only only been in India for a couple of years now and of course, does not speak Hindi.
Choreographer Padmini, who is training the duo, in fact translates and writes down the lyrics of the song in English for Alexx so that he can understand the song and give the right expressions. While rehearsing, Alexx and Sweta always perform in front of a mirror because he gets his clues from the steps, and not the lyrics of the songs.
In fact, Alexx’s sister is getting married in Holland and the poor guy gets to go only for 3-days as he can’t miss the rehearsals. With so much effort going behind the dance act, Sweta hopes the audiences appreciate their performances and hopes that her ‘Baliye’ gets accepted just the like Soniaji.
FORMULA OF SUCCESS ITEM NUMBER

After her disastrous film debut in Love In Nepal Sweta Keswani has switched to the time-tested Bollywood success formula — doing an item number.Having disappeared from the small screen after walking out of Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chaand and Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii, Sweta will now be seen shaking a leg in Tauba Tauba. "It’s a catchy folksy number titled Qurbaan and I wear a really hot J-Lo kind of dress."

Sweta is also doing Jackpot, a Raghu Romeo-kind of film shot in the DVD format. "It’s about five guys and a bar dancer who plan a robbery. It’s a mast sex comedy." Sure Sweta. Everything can fail in Bollywood except sex.
STORY LINE OF JACKPOT
You get only one chance in life to hit the jackpot but flop car thief Honda (Amit Mistry) gets this chance at a very wrong place … inside a jail. To fulfill this chance, Honda now needs a man who could take Honda charges on himself. Thus, Honda would be free to come out of jail and accomplish his mission… break a vault full of money. Honda asks Chanda (Shweta Keshwani), his girlfriend and a beer bar dancer, to find such a man. Chanda approaches Chindi (Razzak Khan) a petty thief, and persuades him to take the blame. Chindi flatly refuses, but promises to find someone. He goes to Nandu Nokia (Kunal Tavre), a young crook, who had some problems, so he guides them to Marco (Vishwajeet Pradhan). Macro sister was getting married and so he was genuinely unavailable. He directs them to Buta Singh (Dharam Pal). Buta wife was inside jail and he had his small kid to look after, so he takes them to a struggling actor called Hero (Mukul Dev). Thus, the contenders for the Jackpot are now many. But no yet knows the whereabouts of this vault, even though everyone has already made plans on spending the booty. Finally, by a stroke of luck as also their diligent efforts, they locate the vault. With these six unlikely but endearing characters, the simplest of jobs looked the hardest… as they were masters of goof ups, and at times, unfailingly stupid. Do they reach their goal is what "Chor Mandli" all about… Fun, entertainment and thrill.
