Formerly known worldwide as "Posh,"
she -- along with the four other Spice Girls -- was part of one of the
biggest girl-groups in music history. Now she is adding her flare to the
world of fashion with her line of clothing. Victoria Beckham (then Victoria
Adams) was an original member of The Spice Girls, the British pop super
group of the 1990s. Victoria was "Posh Spice," the elegantly haughty member
of the ensemble. (The other four members were known as Baby Spice, Sporty
Spice, Scary Spice and Ginger Spice.) She married football (soccer)
superstar David Beckham in July of 1999. The two quickly became one of
Britain's most celebrated couples, with their every move followed by
paparazzi and their home jokingly known to the tabloids as "Beckingham
Palace." The Spice Girls disbanded in 2001 and Beckham released the solo
album Victoria Beckham the same year, followed by a succession of singles.
Her autobiography, Learning to Fly, was published in 2001.

Victoria Caroline Adams was born April 17, 1974, in Hertfordshire, England.
She has two siblings, brother Christian and sister Louise, and parents,
Jackie and Tony, ran a successful electrical wholesale business and were
well-off by most standards.
As a child, Victoria was surprisingly lonely; other children often teased
her because of her acne and she would even ask her father not to drop her
off in front of school so as not to be seen in the family's Rolls-Royce.

Released
in 1996, the Spice Girls' first single, "Wannabe," and their debut album,
Spice, were smash hits in the US and abroad. Victoria, along with her band
mates Emma, Geri, and the two Mels, became instant household names, with
success that changed the face of pop culture and gave new meaning to "girl
power." With hits like "2 Become 1" and "Spice Up Your Life," the
Spice Girls went on to sell over 35 million albums and 25 million singles
worldwide, igniting a worldwide phenomenon in the process. But this mega
success was relatively short-lived. Worldwide tours, millions of albums
sold, and a movie (Spiceworld) later, Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell decided
to split from the Girls in May 1998, leaving a huge void in the group.
Although she claims that she has never read a book from cover to cover,
Victoria released an autobiography, titled Learning To Fly. In 2001, she
released her first solo album, Victoria Beckham, which has spawned the
singles "Not Such An Innocent Girl" (which, unfortunately, was clobbered on
the charts by Kylie Minogue's comeback single) and "A Mind Of Its Own."

You know
what's scary? Victoria Beckham, that's what. And, no, I don't mean who.
I most definitely mean what, since the actual status of Victoria
Beckham's legitimacy has a human is still inquestion.
If ever there was proof of functioning Alien Fembots walking amonst us,
it's Posh Spice, and her pistol-tipped silicone spheres. I'd love to
find the user manual for Robo Spice, if only to locate the off switch
for those artificial nipples.
It's just too bad her creators couldn't make her look more natural. As a
proof of concept, I suppose it's impressive, but it doesn't really pass
for human. |

The
various parts of Victoria Beckham's anatomy are hard enough to identify in a
good quality picture. In particular, her breasts are so oddly shaped, and
misplaced, that even finding Victoria's nipples would take a seven-day
expedition. Add to that the fact that these pictures are very grainy, and
out of focus, and I would say it's nearly impossible to say for certain that
what we are seeing is in fact a Victoria Beckham nipple slip.
That being said, it could well be that what we have here are genuine nipple
slip pictures, but if that were true, it would mean Victoria Beckham lacks
any discernable areola, and merely has dark grey nipples protruding directly
out of her artificial breasts. Plus, they would be very oddly positioned
too. Of course, we are talking about Posh Spice, so that really wouldn't
surprise me.
Believe what you will, the bottom line here is that if that is indeed
Victoria Beckham's nipple, it's probably one of the scariest things I've
ever seen, so regardless of all the factors making it unlikely, I will
simply choose to believe it is not, since I would very much like to be able
to sleep tonight. |
