| She is one of the world's most
famous sopranos. Only a teenager, she has already sold millions of records,
and made a fortune doing concerts. She has performed for the Pope, former
President Clinton, the Queen of England, Jay Leno, and David Letterman. She
has even sung with Luciano Pavarotti. Charlotte Church hails from the Welsh
town of Llandaff, Cardiff. She had wanted to sing ever since she was 3 and a
half years old, when she belted out "Ghostbusters" at a holiday camp and had
to be dragged off the stage. Her vocal chords spread like wildfire, and she
was in demand, most importantly by music producer/manager Jonathan Shalit.
He introduced Charlotte to the Sony Music UK Chairman, who signed her to a
multi-album contract on the spot.

Charlotte Maria Church was born on February 21, 1986 in Llandaff, Cardiff,
Wales, United Kingdom to Steven Reed and his wife Maria. The couple
separated shortly after the child's birth, and she was left in her mother's
care. She started singing publicly when she was only three and a half years
old, singing the Ghost Busters (1984) theme with her cousin at a seaside
holiday camp in Caernarfon, Wales. She came to public notice after an
appearance on the UK daytime magazine program, "This Morning" (aka "Richard
and Judy") and then made an impromptu appearance on 'The Big, Big Talent
Show'. She came on to say a few words about her aunt Caroline, who was also
making an appearance on the show, and the show's host, Jonathan Ross, asked
her to sing. She stole the show and immediately became an overnight
sensation in her native Wales. More television and concert appearances
followed, such as the ones at Cardiff Arms Park in Wales, the London
Palladium, and the Royal Albert Hall, and opening for Shirley Bassey in
Antwerp, Belgium. She was signed to Sony Music (UK) and has released three
best selling albums of popular classics.

Her
first album was released in 1998, when she was a mere 12 years of age. Voice
of an Angel reached double platinum status in the UK, and Charlotte became
the youngest artist to have a number one hit on the classical charts, and
the youngest to have a Top 5 hit in the UK -- beating out Vanessa Mae by a
few years.
Once the album crossed the pond and "Charlotte buzz" hit North America, she
was making her rounds on talk shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,
The Late Show with David Letterman and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Her albums

Charlotte Church has been lounging about in bikinis so often lately,
that I've had to create a category just for her (click on her name back
there). It seems she has become quite the wild child back home in
Britain, and has been in all the tabloids (but, really, who hasn't been
in the British tabloids). At any rate, back to the bikinis. As I was
saying, Charlotte Church is fond of the bikini, and of the showing her

Well, Charlotte Church was on the beach again, and of course, the Paparazzi
were out in force, doing what they do. But this time, those paps caught a
little more than just some Charlotte Church bikini pictures. It looks like
Charlotte's boyfriend was being a little naughty that day, and he got caught
untying Charolotte's bikini bottoms in public.
