Ram, Prachi take top awards at Indian Telly Awards 2007 winner List |

MUMBAI : The Seventh Indian Telly Awards 2007 were presented by Sony Entertainment Television and were held in Mumbai's Chitrakut Ground. |

| The Indian Telly Popular Awards have 37 categories this year and few of the awards categories include: Best Actor (Popular and Critics - Male and Female), Best Supporting Actor (Male and Female), Best TV Daily, Best TV Weekly, Best Continuing TV show, Best TV Anchor, Best Hindi Channel, Best Production House, Best Reality Show, Best Talent Show, Best News Channel (English and Hindi), Best Hindi Movie Channel, Best Business News Channel, The Hall of Fame Award and Contribution to Television Award, among many others. |

"Star Plus" also ruled the roster with the 'Best Actress' award, which went to Aamna Sharif as Kashish in 'Kahin To Hoga' and 'Best Continuing TV Programme' was awarded to 'Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. "Zee TV"must be proud with it also winning some of the biggest prizes such as its show 'Kasamh Se' bagging the 'Best Drama' beating oppositions like 'Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and 'Kahanni Ghar Ghar Kii'. 'Kasamh Se' also helped ZEE TV bag other awards. Ram Kapoor won the prize for 'Best Actor' who plays Jai Walia in the drama. Ashwini Kalsekar who plays Jigyasa in 'Kasamh Se' won the ' Best Actor in a negative role'. Jai Walia & Bani helped 'Kasamh Se' win the award for 'Best Couple' as well. |

The evening was hosted by TV actor Ram Kapoor and actress Roshni Chopra.
Kasamh Se's Prachi Desai (Bani) and Ram Kapoor (Jai Walia) walked away with the best actress and best actor award respectively in the popular category. |

| The Hindi Entertainment Channel of the year award was picked up by Zee TV. The seven long year running Kyuunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was adjudged the best in the continuing TV programme category. |
The event was marked by lively performances from Eijaaz Khan, Anita Hassnandani, Sayantani Ghosh, Rajashri Thakur Vaidhya, Mona Singh, Urvashi Dholakia, Smriti Iraani, Mouni Roy, Naman Shaw, Jay Bhanushali and the miraculous duo from Amber Dhara. The new Balaji find Dimple Jhangiani was also revealed for the first time in a performance with Akashdeep Saigal.

Ekta's Bhool Bhulaiiya! At the 7th Indian Telly Awards, Ekta Kapoor bagged the award for the best continuing serial (Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kahbi Bahu Thi) . After receiving the award Ekta headed to give an interview back stage. After winding up her interview Ekta forgot to take her trophy. She's won many an award and perhaps she's lost count of them all. But this one was too special for her and she came back for it . |
