The hush-hush meeting between television actor Iqbal Khan and Balaji Telefilms’ head Ekta Kapoor, who were said to have fallen out, have got rumour mills abuzz.

The cute and adorable actress who captivated the hearts of the small screen audiences by her innocence and obedience in the popular Balaji soap `Kkusum` is what describes Aashka Goradia to the hilt. She hails from the capital city of Ahmedabad. She has completed her graduation through correspondence. This 19-year old is a very jovial and happy-go-lucky kind of girl who believes in living life to the fullest and loves the world. Her widest fantasy ever is to climb the Mt. Everest. She does not believe in future and likes to plan her schedule only for the day. Her dream date would be either Pierce Brosnan or Tom Cruise or the man she loves. The actors and actresses who top her list of inspiration are Saakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmakar, the lead couple of another popular Balaji soap `Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki`.

“Aashka Goradia had always wanted to become an actress. She worked for a while as Ekta Kapoor`s secretary and then captured the heart of the soap queen by her sheer intelligence, maturity, honesty and sensitiveness. Soon after she was offered the lead role in the much popular serial `Kkusum`. Here she played the lead role of Kumud. Being one of the youngest lead actresses she soon created waves in tellydom with her powerhouse performances. All the daughters of the nation were supposed to be like her, so innocent, understanding, caring and loving.
NEW TWIST IN KAHIN TO HOGA
Ekta Kapoor says, “Yes,I have plans to create a new character to give a twist to the love story of Sujal and Kashish.Chetan is the perfect choice for Sameer.He is coming from US.He is quite arrogant and is depressed because of his failure of love.He’s going to be paired opposite Gayatri”.
Chetan is not sure about his role,”Ekta simply told me that she might invite me to the family of Kahin to hoga.My character is supposed to have grey shades.But not a negative character.He is very possessive about his lady love.He loses his love.He goes out of control.Then he returns to India where he meets his ex-girlfriend again.The character is exciting.But Ekta told me not to have any expectation about it as she has’nt decided anything on my character”.
Incidentally, this will be her first primetime show on Star Plus. In the show, Aashka will play an NRI who makes Kashish’s life miserable. The dark shades of her character will test Aashka’s mettle as an actor. The pretty actress has already begun shooting for the show.
YOUNGEST LEAD ACTRESS
Moving on to his new soap "Kavyanjali" which Iqbal has recently joined, the actor said: "My character Shaurya in 'Kavyanjali' is so different from Angad. I am the funny man in 'Kavyanjali' trying to make everyone smile.
"On the sets I didn't know anyone except Anita. But now I am comfortable with everyone including Amrita Singh who is really awesome. But I am not much of a fun seeker. I give my shot. If someone cracks a joke, I laugh. But I won't crack a joke myself."
